Charlotte Attry is an author and journalist. Specializing in social issues and major life transitions, she is drawn to subjects that remain largely taboo.
With a background in modern literature and journalism, she spent more than ten years working in French television, investigating, writing, directing, and supervising reports and documentaries, notably for France 2, France 3, TF1, and M6. At the same time, she contributed to print and digital publications and pursued further studies in psychology.
Since 2018, she has published several books exploring pivotal moments in women’s lives and their repercussions, including menopause, empty nest syndrome, and relationship crises.
In 2024, she became Executive Director of the Alliance Française de Berkeley, California.
Two years later, she published her most personal book, Le Brasier, a literary narrative that delves into the intimate life of a couple following the death of their first child.
Through her books, columns, and public speaking engagements, Charlotte Attry brings a sensitive, clear-eyed, and incisive perspective to the upheavals and emotions that shape us.
